Hello! My name is Mrs. Martin and I am so excited to be teaching at Hillel this year! I'll be here in the afternoons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays teaching science and social studies for Mrs. Hentschel's class, a math group for some of second and third graders, and art for the whole school! I'm excited about this interesting combination, as I see it really lending itself well to the project based learning approach to education here at Hillel. When I'm not here, I can usually be found doing something either crafty or outdoorsy with my boys Charlie (age 3) and Amos (age 1). On extra special days, when he works from home, my husband Luke joins us for our festivities. But on most days, he can be found in a coffee shop or library working on the reading and writing necessary for completing his PhD in Theology at the University of Dayton. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth here at Hillel, and I am excited to get to know you all a bit more!
